Long time pals and one of the fave bands around these Recess parts, The Fleshies, are in the studio finishing up “Brown Flag”, Their 4th album (6th if you wanna be a snob and count “The Baby” and “Gung Ho”) and their first for Recess Records. I will be the first to admit that the Recess online mailorder website was shoddy, at best, in the past. Luckily i’m a wise bast and spent about 65 hours uploading stuff for this new one. Audacity-Power Drowning LP white vinyl

I saw these guys on a boat and thought they were the best band i have seen while skimming on the Pacific ocean! From the first few chords they reminded me of Jerrys Kids. Like very early Jerrys Kids,as well as a slew of other early ’80’s hardcore bands, but within 1 minute into a song everything changed and i thought “Now they sound like The Bananas!”. Yea i put a quote on thoughts. so what?! They even do “Dicks Hate Police”. Split release with Burger Records!

Mr.Craig Flipy threw together some hefty bonus footy, like a full feature of Japanther playing the now defunct 4th st Pedro house, Bloomington etc etc et frikken cetra!
