sound of yesteryear me friend. I cant say it sounds just like their first
7" but its surely not as "metal" as the 10". I'm not
saying i dislike the 10" at all,i'm just saying i dont like "metal"...hence
the quotes. Anyways yea this rules and it excites me to think that it
sorta leads me to believe that they havent reached their peak yet. Later.

| If you were one of the lucky bastards to catch BerZerK on the Recess Vargas summer tour then you probably don't even need to be reading this because you have already witnessed the power and have already made yourself a nuisance at your local record store bugging the buyer about when BerZerK's debut LP, Theyreaftame, is gonna be available. If you don't live in a town that BerZerK visited, or you do live in one of those towns but were too stupid to check them out, then buckle up and read on. These five misfits from the northwest are the hardest rockers that will ever grace your neck of the woods with their presence - that's if your lucky enough to live in or near a town worthy of a spot on a BerZerK tour. Through the course of the summer of '99 these urchins were leaving crowds speechless and embarassing bands that played with them by blowing each and every one of them off the stage. Not even an ambush in southern Florida could slow down this tough bunch of thrashcats from sacking up to their next challenge. If you had an ounce of sense you would get on the wagon and become the biggest BerZerK fan on your block before they're so popular that it's not even cool to like them. Berzerk is: Joanne screams, sings, shouts, and grunts; Tyler wails, wanks and solos his way to inevitable fame; Mandy plucks and thumps a bass that is almost as tall as she is, always smiling and almost never wearing shoes; Chad is more than just blast beats and cymbal grabs, he holds the band together with his strong, loving arms (not to mention his mean acoustic guitar work on ÒBehind Closed DoorsÓ) |
