FAQ's
1Q)what does ppd mean? a)it means "postage paid".we pay for all shipping & handling charges.what price you see is the total for that item.unless of course you live outside the u.s.a.
2Q)how long will my order take? a)it depends mostly if an item is in stock or not.lotsa times we will put your order on hold if we think that particular item will arrive back soon.to help us you can tell us if you want us to hold the order until all items come back in stock or to just fill the order with whatever is in stock at the time.this is easy with credit card orders cos we can just charge your card with whatevers in,but with checks/cash etc its better to list alternates or we will hafta give you a credit slip.if everythings in stock an average order takes about 2 weeks. but it can take longer, allow up to 6 weeks.we only have one person handling mail(hey we aint made of money) . also if you ordered online know that your credit card wont be charged til your stuff is ready to be shipped.so if you check the status of your card and it wasnt charged by us that means your order is in a line (if it was charged and you didnt get it for awhile contact me todd@recessrecords.com ).ya know first come first served,we play fair at recess.
3Q)can i get faster shipping?(for us customers) a) yes.you hafta get in touch with us though cos it depends on what/how much you order and what shipping method you want(i.e. ups,next day,insured,2nd day etc) priority mail for most orders is an extra $3.50
4Q)where can i find song listings for each record? a) on the mailorder page click on "the recess catalog/records and cd's" and scroll down to the record you want to know about and most likely there will be a "view track listing" next to it. if theres not then come back soon after we list all songs for all recess titles.
helpful hints for our shopping cart! there is a search feature thats pretty neato that you might wanna use.once you click on an item it will take you to a screen where it shows everything we are selling(as well as the item that you picked in your cart at the bottom of the screen).at the top of the screen type a band and it will list only that bands stuff.(note:this is a different search engine than the one we have on our site.they are very similar,but our site shows and describes the actual stuff,and the shopping cart search engine just lists the stuff.got it?

things in mailorderland are going alot smoother lately meaning you will get your package faster than normal.here are some things that can delay your order:1) xmas time due to postal delays 2) ordering out of stock items (in the case of a credit card order,if you order more than one item and one of them is out of stock,and will be for awhile,we will then just ship what we have and only charge your card for what was shipped. you will then have to make another order to get that out of stock item when it comes back in. this doesnt cost anymore for you as shipping is always included with the price of each item.
