Pedro punks is widely considered a pop-punk masterpiece.
It was first released on Recess Records (the label owned
and operated by frontman Todd Congelliere), the album
bridges the gap between chaotic, raw underground punk
and highly infectious, melodic hooks.
The album shines through the interplay between Todd
Congelliere and Sean Cole. Todd's strained, emotionally
raw anthems bounce perfectly off Sean's heavier, slightly
metal-influenced riffs and sharp vocal contributions.
Control The Sun is the definitive Toys That Kill record—
and one of the most underrated punk albums of the 2000s.
